Marco Marranini is a digital marketing executive and early pioneer of influencer marketing in Europe, with over a decade of experience at the intersection of brand strategy, creators, and data. He is COO for Europe at Open Influence, leading operations across key markets and helping global brands build scalable, insight-driven influencer ecosystems.
He focuses on transforming influencer marketing from tactical execution into a strategic growth lever, combining proprietary technology, audience intelligence, and culturally relevant storytelling to drive measurable impact.
In 2012, Marco co-founded Digital Cake, one of Italy’s first blogger networks. After its acquisition by Open Influence in 2015, he helped lead the company’s European expansion. He holds degrees in Arts, Media and Entertainment Economics, and International Marketing Management from Bocconi University. His interests in architecture, cinema, and sport shape his view of culture, creativity, and communication.
